5 questions with Max Wells

What made you want to start making music?

I always loved listening to music and remember humming/singing my favorite songs when I was a kid.. eventually I started writing my own lyrics and trying to record myself w/ my moms computer.

Do you thinking listening/making music is a form of therapy, and if you do, why?

Music is 100% a form of therapy. Making it, listening to it, performing it... anything that has to do with music is an escape for me.. takes you away from reality and allows you to explore a different perspective...

If you could could collaborate with one artist, dead or alive, who would it be, and why?

There are so many people Id love to work with. But if I really had to pick right now.. I’d say Kid Cudi.

Biggest musical influence?

I’m so influenced by so many people that it’d be really hard to narrow it down to one tbh. But I was really into Logic, Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, Wiz, Kendrick, A$AP Rocky, Erykah Badu, + so many more I know I’m missing lol

Any future projects we should know about?

Yes. Me and Bobby Johnson are about to release an EP in these coming months that we’ve been working really hard on. 5 songs. No Features. The name is gonna be released soon.. can’t wait 🖤🌏
