BlackyTom is a up an coming producer from Atlanta who has previously worked with artists like 6dogs, Staryu, 33 life, and Tommy Ice just to name a few.

When did you start making beats?

I started making beats the end of my sophomore year of high school because I broke my ankle skateboarding and I got stuck in the house for 2 weeks.

Do you have a certain routine/process when you make beats? 

Usually I start with melodies then add drums and then sequence out the beat. It really depends on how I’m feeling sometimes I do the drums first then add melodies just to switch it up.

When did you first have success with producing? 

I’d say last year is when I got successful producing. I think it happened because I finally put my all into my music and really put the time in to master my craft.

Who has been your favorite artist or artists you’ve collaborated with?

I love working with my homies like 33 life, Tommy Ice, 6 Dogs,or YUNGSTARBALLOUT. But I honestly try to make whatever I’m working on currently my favorite so it comes out as good as possible.

Any new collaborations we should be on the look out for? 

I got tracks with all of those guys I just named coming out in the near future and some other people but I can’t tell u cuz I don’t wanna speak too soon so you’ll have to wait and see.
